NWA African American Heritage Association, Inc. received a grant from the Arkansas Humanities Council to help document and preserve Baldwin Cemetery in Washington County, Arkansas.

Since 2005 we have collaborated with the Arkansas Archeological Survey to map graves at a cost in funds and staff that the AAS has absorbed as part of their organizational mission.

Licensed surveyors have given generous support in survey work at Baldwin Cemetery.

Local law firms have done pro-bono development work.

The University of Arkansas School of Law Legal Clinic was instrumental in the initial process of incorporation and 501c3 application.
